'Light Shining Through'
The story behind this painting is to show a message that, tough times may exist but they do not last. It is through tough times that we experience, we learn and we grow.
The mixture of the colours dark blue and grey depicts stormy weathers. It can be a period in life when we are faced with difficulties, lack of motivation, or just the feeling of loss. It can be the period when we thought all hope was gone and that the light in the tunnel will never surface.
The lightly brushed tones of yellow and white at the sides of the trees depict hope and ‘Light Shining Through’. Amidst tough times and stormy weathers, there will eventually be light shining through even when one is on the verge of giving up. It is the little glimpse of hope in our lives that keeps us from breaking down. These painted ‘Light Shining Through’ shall serve as a reminder that hope, will always be there if you believe in it.
